This is How YOU Can REMOVE Stubborn Belly FAT NOW!
Would you have ever believed that drinking a simple cup of tea could help you lose body fat?
Hard to believe isn’t it?
Many finalized medical studies point to this fact and because Green Tea is showing so much promise in the area of body fat loss, many more studies are being carried out today.
Here is a link to an interesting study published in The American Journal of CLINICAL NUTRITION
https://academic.oup.com/ajcn/article/81/1/122/4607419
that concluded “Daily consumption of tea containing 690 mg catechins for 12 week period reduced body fat, which suggests that the ingestion of catechins might be useful in the prevention and improvement of lifestyle-related diseases, mainly obesity.”
And the best source of catechins is Green Tea.
But even though the above information is terrific, this is the study that excited me! The results of this study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition just blew me away.
The anti-obesity effects of green tea in human intervention and basic molecular studies.

I know that the article is very heavy weighted with medical terms and jargon, but because it combines the results of multiple studies, all of which used green tea but under different controlled circumstances, it reveals many benefits of green tea consumption.
I also liked the fact that the study’s authors characterized obesity as a nutritional and metabolic disorder, rather than one of just simply overeating. Yes they do say that “fat cell hypertrophy (enlargement or overgrowth) often develops when energy intake exceeds energy expenditure”. But they do go on to say that “fat cell proliferation is mainly controlled by genes, while nutritional factors also have a certain role.”
The study also details how fat cells are deposited in various areas of the body etc. Oh and of course they do explain how green tea interrupts fat cell production.
The more I read this study, the more I believe it would make a great discussion like book club, except “Clinical Study Club” so one to remember for the future!

This is an image from the above mentioned study that explains how green tea interferes with the process of energy absorption.
So now that you have become enamored with the idea of drinking Green Tea, where can you get some? How much should you drink? And is one variety any better than the other? All really good questions.
I will deal with the how much should you drink first. Of all the studies I have read, it seems as though to get the most benefits from Green Tea’s fat busting ability, somewhere between 2 – 3 cups a day is about right. At this amount the human body seems to ingest the right amount of required elements to increase the metabolism and alter how the body deals with fat deposits.
As far as any green tea being better than the other, the best variety is Matcha Green Tea. It is interesting to note that The Japanese Tea Ceremony uses Matcha Green Tea.
So just what is Matcha vs just Green Tea? Both teas are derived from the same plant (Cameillia Sinensis) but green tea tends to come in a tea bag and Matcha comes in a powder form. But the process does not only differ there. Regular Green Tea goes through a much longer production process which involves the tea being left in the sun, whereas Matcha bushes are kept under cover in order to increase the chlorophyll and amino acid levels in the leaves. This sees much more of the teas benefits being left in the leaves.
As far as taste is concerned between the pair? Most people say that both teas have slightly grassy undertones but Matcha has a much richer and more buttery flavor.
So where can you lay your hands on some Matcha Green Tea? Your local supermarket will sell some for sure. If it is not in the tea or coffee isle, try your health food isle. Health food shops are another place where you should be able to find some as well. Just make sure to choose a Matcha Green Tea that is pesticide free if possible.
If this is the first time you have tried Matcha Green Tea and you are not sure if you will like it, maybe you can go to a health cafe that sells it and try a cup first? This way you will not be buying a box of tea you may never drink. And if you find that you like the variety that you were served, some cafes may sell it, so ask there.
Below is a great video that explains how to make your Matcha Green Tea both the traditional way and the more modern way.
Very interesting information and maybe something worth trying, especially if you are a tea drinker already.
And if you are still not convinced that drinking Green Tea is great for your health, you can watch this video below by Doctor Mike to see if he can convince you of its many health benefits.
As always, why not consider discussing this topic in our facebook group by going to this special link I have set up for this specific topic. It is interesting to see just what other people have experienced using Matcha Green Tea.
