Below are some of the numbers that clinicians use to measure our health status. I have also included a link to a youtube video so that you can learn more about just what these numbers are and how they indicate your health status.
Non Invasive or Clinical Tests or Observations
These tests do not usually require the skin barrier to be broken
Below ~ Blood Pressure or BP
Below ~ Body Mass Index or BMI
Below ~ Waist to Hip Ratio or WHR
Below ~ Abdominal Circumference
Below ~ Heart Rate or Pulse
Below ~ Respiratory Rate or Breathing
Invasive Tests
These tests require the skin barrier to be broken
Below ~ Blood Glucose Level or Blood Sugar Level or BGL or BSL
There are multiple Blood Glucose Levels that are tested. These are
- Current or 2 hours after eating
- Fasting
- HbA1c

Below ~ Cholesterol
There are multiple Cholesterol Levels that are tested. These are
- LDL or Low Density Lipoprotein
- HDL or High Density Lipoprotein
- Total - both LDL and HDL totals combined
- Triglycerides - Another form of body fat

Below ~ CRP or C-reactive Protein
I know this information seems like a lot to take in, but knowing about these health indicators and where you are now, is a great way to track your progress towards regaining your health.
